Going Blonde

Ranked #7,774 in Entertainment, #123,595 overall

As a devoted movie collector I have movies from all generations. Audrey Hepburn, Bette Davis, Lucille Ball all have a special place in my collection, however when the girls are over I want something fun and lighthearted for the time spent watching is also used as a total gab session! Watching a movie during girls night at my house is big bowls of popcorn and all the girls gathered on my over sized couch munching, laughing and enjoying the show and each other. There is no be quiets and no hushups, there is just an enjoyable movie and us!

Legally Blonde is the perfect movie for a girls night. It spans generations. It is fun and has something for all the girls to relate to. I am more like Ell’s teacher, my granddaughter is so Elle, and my daughter could be the perfect Vivian! Let’s not forget the favorite animal in the movie, a cute little dog named bruiser which is so my pup mugsy!

I love movies that are feel good movies with women coming out the winner. This is a classic for that theme! A fashion student goes to Harvard to get her boyfriend back and in the process becomes a much loved team member for a lawyers summer internship. There is nothing scholarly about this movie, no heavy drama and no plot that thickens. Just a great show with cute fashions and great storyline. From Beverly Hills to the Boston campus of Harvard I think this movie is a winner not to mention I just love Reese Witherspoon. Besides Sweet Home Alabama, this is one of our favorite chic flicks for all generations!

Here are classic clips from Legally Blonde!

On a rainy weekend afternoon, the girls of the family gather to watch a good chic flick. It creates some of the best memories! Do you enjoy watching movies with your daughter?

Sometimes you need a movie where the Plot doesn't thicken, and you are not on the edge of your seat from the start........something where you can just sit back relax and be entertained! This is the one! Great review.....

Watched it several times now. And you are so right. Perfect for a girls night. I did watch it with my daughter too.

I have not seen any of these movies yet. I like Reese Witherspoon as June Carter Cash. I cannot think of other movies than those you mentioned that I have seen her in at the moment. I will have to watch them!

There were several, but we have boys so this wasn't among them. My husband and I saw this, though, and totally enjoyed it. Fun review - I can picture your girls' movie night and it looks like a lot of fun!
